turn radio off...
hold 1 and 6 and turn on the radio
on display screen should show u the code
(1 letter follow by 4/5 numbers)
then it'll show a different one on the 2nd flash... write it down and call honda with that code

vin of what.. i have no idea what car this came out of so i dont have the vin.. i thought i was getting the radio this weekend, but now i wont have it til next.. so ill be trying it then..

Vin of the car it came out of. The reason for the code in the first place is to stop theft otherwise what good is a code? Honda dealers are supposed to require proof of ownership of the radio before giving a code. Some people will do it without a Vin anyway so your on your own on that.

could u do that for a gsr stereo i got one in my hatch when i bought but when i plug in it says code idk wat the code is because it came in my car i bet u the stupid guy who gave it to me stole it expletive
