Take yours out, put the other in, and see what you can work out if you really feel the need to do this. Is your radiator busted and you are looking to do a quick fix?

My friend's radiator needs replaced and he has another Civic ('91, I believe) which he doesn't drive which has a functioning radiator. We were just thinking instead of spending more time and money, perhaps they could be switched? or

Well, we're a little strapped for time and would rather get it done sooner than later. So, if the older radiator can be switched into the '95 Civic, it would really be a lifesaver. Any idea where else I could look to find the answer?

Search, maybe someone has a thread on this already. Is the 92-95 civic your friend has all stock, with no motor swap? If so, then I think you can get the 89-91 rad. to work. Things that I see being potential issues are the height of the 89-91 radiator, wether your friend has A/C in the car or not, and the radiator mounts themselves.

Oh, by the way, you arent going to save time doing this... You'll save money, yes. But time, nope. In the time it takes you to get this all jerry-rigging done, you could've got to a local autozone or something and gotten the stock replacement, and had a drop in affair.
