radiator problem help

Default radiator problem help

i got a 97 dx civic radiator fan wont turn on at all i tested it and it works and replaced the relay and the fuse is good and after running my car for 10 minutes the radiator smokes a bit please help me im stuch thank you

whats the temp. guage say? it could be the temp. switch.

The fan is only meant to help maintain operating temperature. It will only turn on when you exceed operating temperature while the car sits still. Also, **** gets on your radiator, and then it burns off, it's fine. I worried about that once too; I didn't realize that it was just some engine bay cleaning products burning off. Unless it smells like an engine fluid, then you might have another problem.

Have you spilled any coolant on the radiator? Do you have any leaks? How much smoke is there? Granted this doesn't have anything to do with the radiator fan, if you're worried about the smoke, get a pressure tester and check for leaks in the radiator.
