Radiator fan wiring problem
This is my first post in the forums, I'm an expat living in the Philippines and picked up a 2000 Civic SiR (EK) a couple of months back, it already had a few mods and I'm slowly adding a few more.
Had an issue with the radiator fan motor where it would randomly screech then stop, made the decision to get an aluminum radiator and change out the fan motor at the same time, bought a surplus fan from a local dealer but unsure about the different color wiring, see photos below.
Photo 1. Replacement motor and fan. Is one of the black wires for grounding?
Photo 2. Existing wiring in car.
Photo 3. Old motor and wiring. Notice blue wire is on left hand side compared to right hand side in replacement motor.
Any ideas how to connect?
