Default Ractive Strut bar - any good?

Hi!
I'm on budget and I wanted to know if Ractive Rear strut tower brace is any good, meaning, does it actually work and stiffen the chassis?
Thank you!

i really dont like obx, ractive, tenzo r

to me their like companies that jumped on the rice wagon and havent really noticed the hardcore individuals, as few as we are..
so honestly oem is best, get a itr strut bar or u can get like a si ones their very rigid u can find them cheap and will do the job. they wont be stunna's but they get the job done!

I agree, but I asked for the REAR one, does Honda makes rear strut tower brace that will fit on a sedan? if yes, I'll be very happy.

Yeah man it doesn't really matter what kind you get in terms of aftermarket strut bars..i mean i have Tenzo R ones in the front and rear and i'm sure they work fine compared to other ones. BTW if you can't find a bar for you 1.6EL, try getting a rear bar from a civic sedan or even a coupe since they are pretty much the same cars

I usually agree about cheap companies like ractive sucking, But I have the rear strut bar/lower tie bar and I haven't had a single problem with them ever. I'm sure they don't work quite as well as Spoon or something like that, but look at the price difference.

cheap strut bars should be okay, but i've heard bad stories about the "type R" bars selling on ebay because they are flimsy although they look nice in pics.

imo it's not worth the extra $ to pay for a brand name bar.

I have a front and rear Ractive bars for sale. They were on my 98 Civic coupe but I'm sure they'd fit. They were paintied flat black.

They're not the best but they do tighten things up a tad.

Let me know if you'd be interested in $40+shipping?

Quite honestly the rear of your car is not supporting that much weight and as a result doesn't experience the hideous kinds of cornering loads that the front of your car does so really an upper rear strut isn't all that crucial in my opinion.
