Re: racing seats??? (tabrisakakaoru)
Sprints ~ $200, Speeds ~$260
These are non-adjustable racing seats, meant specifically for racing.
If you're looking for an adjustable back street/racing seat, then I'd shoot for some del sol's.
Edit: Actually you're right, you'll need the brackets too (~$100)

Re: racing seats??? (jolt-tsp)
i have a similar set of those seats in the bottom link with the mugen emblem on them i didnt pay for them but... they are the most comfy seats ive ever sat in... and i would not go with a sparco sprint or speed unless you want to be sitting straight up stuck in your seat 24/7.... but for around the same price you can get like gsr leathers if you can find em... id rather have the leathers but those seats are a good bang for the buck too

Ive sat in some tenzo R seats and they are pretty comfortable, they are alot more stiff. The ones to get are seats with the huge bulge on the seat where the bottom of your knees touch. Those are really comfortable.

I don't think it's that easy. Aren't the Del Sol seas glued down in the corners and sides where it makes the bucket shape? If so, you would also need a way of getting the material to stay down in those areas.

Wow, Those mugen seats look Nice!
I have never sat in that model set, but I have sat in the SRD Recaros or SR2's or whatever non Jdm Itr version... anyhow... if those are Genuine Mugen seats for ~300 YOU cant go wrong... Mugen bling bling ..
For that matter, There is also the option of Getting Corbeau TRS seats for Really cheap.. and they are VERY comfy!!!

Do you REALLY think genuine Mugen seats would sell for $300 new? They're fake, and it's fine if you buy them, but do NOT believe that you bought authentic Mugen seats if you get these.

Re: racing seats??? (tabrisakakaoru)
Just FYI, here's a real Mugen seat: http://kingmotorsports.com/product.asp?product=195
And I've never looked into buying aftermarket seats, so I don't know what your choices are except for a few expensive brands. However, I currently rock del Sol seats in my EJ8. They bolt into any '92-'00 Civic and feel great! I bought them off of famed H-T member Katman, and they arrived in superb condition. Hell, they even smell good! I, like some others, highly recommend these because they're relatively cheap; you can find them in EXCELLENT condition if you shop around (like I did); and they're OEM quality and allow you to retain the plastic covers on the base of the stock seat. Check out my webpage for pics.
