quick questions about tranny fluid on a em1 how many quart?
i haven't done a tranny fluid change for a while any way i just changed my tranny fluid on my 99 si and i put in 3.2 quart i just want to make sure that's right. let me know guys. thanks

all depends on how much you got out of it when you drained it. was it on a level surface? did you remove the filler bolt, and pour the new fluid in until you saw it trickle out? 3.2 seems a bit high, usually it is about 2 1/2~3/4 or so for a drain/refill.

yeah 3.2 is too high. i just changed mine the other weekend. it should be about what the other guy said which is 2 1/2. if you filled it through the fill bolt it shouldn't be able to take more than its supposed to because when it reaches it's required level the oil should just start spilling out of the filler hole. but i remember reading something on here where the guy fills it through like the speed sensor or something like that then if you did it that way then you would be able to overfill your tranny
