Ok this is for my 97 EJ8. Im about to install some JDM black housing headlights but i was wondering if im suppose to remove the bunper to do this. I mean is there any other way to do it or can i leave the bumper on and still accomplish my goal. Any tips or pointers would be nice

The bumpers got to come off.

Screws in the wheel wells, the clips under the front lip of the hood, and the bolts underneath. You should be able to get it off in like 10 minutes tops.

Ah, crap i was hoping it wouldnt have to come off. Well i guess im going to have to leave it for tommorow then.

There are mounting bolts under the bumper. I guess you might be able to get it out without pulling the bumper, but you couldn't get it back in.

if you want to go ghetto and not take the bumper off... undo all the screws up top by the grill, the ones in the wheel well but not the ones under the car and have a friend hold the bumper forward while you unscrew the bolts under the headlight.

possibility you might break something on the bumper... but thats the only thing i can think of.
