Default Questions about front lip.

I'm thinking about getting a Typer front lip for my car. How much work is involved in putting a lip on? Has anyone had any problems installing one or getting one to stay on?

Front lips are VERY easy to install. If you get a factory one, your lookin at about 8 - 10 bolts... cake.

Some aftermarket ones fit over the stock bumper and adhere with 3M tape or something... You can do it.

The factory lip uses 11 bolts to hold it in place (since it bolts from underneath). The aftermarket Type R style lips lay up against the bumper, and is held by 2 self tapping screws on each sides and that's it. If you get a good lip, then 3M double sided sticky tape isn't needed.
