what year is your car??

but regardless for now, if you are 96+..i THINK you need to upgrade to the EX master cylinder..but i know for a fact you are going to need the 40/40 prop valve.

You don't need a new master cylinder or prop valve. I've been in the same boat as you.

I ran rear disks without a 4040 prop valve for a year without problems.

you wont have problems...you just wont get the right amount of brake fluid to the brakes in the rear to actually get any benefit of having rear discs.

I braked slightly better than the drums, however, the braking power change is insignificant unless upgrading the front. I upgraded the front a year later and changed the prop valve.

A rear disk conversion without the larger front disk is mainly bling.

i had a 90 crx that i did the swap in. you dont NEED to change the prop or master cylinder/booster. but it is better if you do. more firmer pedal. the prop valve is only importiant if you upgrade the master cylinder/booster. the 4040 is used with the integra master cylinder and booster cause they are larger than the stock dx ones
