Hi,

sorry im posting this here but I evidently cant post in the appearance forum yet. So I was wondering when most people paint the interior do the remove all the dash, front carpeting, and headliner? Or is it jsut the rear hatch and parts that are visible that are painted? I was wondering cause it seems like it would be a ton of work to remove the dash to get the firewall bare. So is this the way most people do it or is it usually just part of the trunk or hatch that are painted? THanks let me know

it depends if you want the whole inside to be painted to a full color change just like the exterior...but if you do, then yes you'd have to strip the whole interior

if not, then you can just have the shop paint the door jambs and trunk areas that are shown

o so you can just get half the interior painted like just the trunk part and leave the trunk area unpainted correct? Btw thanks for the help. Now to find out how much something like this would cost....

yeah, that's if you want to...of course it'd be much cheaper to just paint like the door jambs and the visible trunk part...but some people like to know that the entire car is the same color, so they'll want to repaint the interior also

just tell whoever paints your car what you want painted
