Default question about integra neuspeed sports on a hatchback.

Alright i installed integra neuspeed sport springs on my 92 hatchback a couple of months ago and they ride great, BUT the drop isnt as low as i would like. I know cutting springs is bad, but how much lower would it go if i cut 1 coil? Would 1 coil really mess up the ride? Thanks

don't cut ! it's quite hard to judge ho much one coil is guna drop your car aswell. cutting your springs will mess up your sring rate allso causeing the spring not to seat on the strut right meaning your sring can fall partly off the strut witch is quite a issues when going down the road

I am going to have to say you are wrong. I always thought cut springs were bad untill I did it myself. I needed money so I sold my coilovers and cut some eibach springs. Do not cut the bottom coil because it is tapered. Cut the top coil. You have to cut each spring equaly. Trial and error is the only way to go. Keep in mind that cut springs are not the best for auto cross but if you just drive normal than you should not have a problem.

I think he cut like 3 coils off, but i don't remember. cutting the springs is a pain in the *** in my opinion. unless you have the right tools to cut the springs, don't try it.

torch gun. heat it up till it gets red, then just break it off. make sure you measure to cut correctly on all springs.
