Default question about boost

I searched, but about 900 things kept coming up, anyway im about to pick up an eg, and I was wondering what would be the best motor for boost that is relativley cheap. I was thinking b18 a/b, but any opinions on what you would suggest would be great.

with 3500 you could just boost the d seires and have it semi built.

Semi-built? For $3500, you could easily fully build a D-series.
