Default question about 92-95 Si hatches. and factory options

ok does the 92-95 civic si hatch come with color matched door handles? was it an option or was it all of them? i know they DIDNT come with color matched moldings, and i think only 94-95 Si came with the color matched mirrors? 92-93 had blk mirrors right? just not sure how the door handles were. . .

It's been awhile, but if I remember correctly...

-92's had black mirrors and colormatched door handles
-93-95 had colormatched mirrors and door handles
-92-95 had black side moldings
-92-93 had black grills in the front bumper
-94-95 had colormatched side grills in the front bumper

Bingo.

Also of note all 95 (probably 94 too) hatches had their entire rear bumpers painted, while 92-93 had the black strip along the bottom that flowed with the black side skirts.

Wait do you mean you hate it when the bumper has black at the bottom, or is all one color?

I purposefully had mine done with the black unpainted trim across the bottom to better flow with the side skirts:

I meant I like the black strip. Bumper looks silly when it doesn't have it, IMO. And yes, good job with the paint.

Ugly *** Tanabe muffler.

Yeah I know about the muffler. I catch hell for it, but I don't care. I love the exhaust, and it is my car after all.

I think the all painted bumpers ring of Maaco even though it was a factory thing in 95.

Now that I didn't know, I left mine black on purpose when I had my carpainted.
