question on 00' turbo Si
Let say you got a Si with exhaust and headers. you upgrade the internals and buy the greddy turbo kit (comes with air intake). u are also a good driver, how fast can u go? lows 13's? how about a GSR with the same setup?
What else can u do to make it faster after all on the above? cams? boost control? i know u can spray but even if u upgrade the internals, the motor will still blow eventully right?
The reason why i ask is cause im interested in a GSR or Si and the fact that its possible for me to turbo it before end of thsi year.

Searchs and reading the Forced Induction forum would be the best start. But, from what I can recall (and to keep a safe estimate), I'd say mid to high 13's with a GReddy kit on either the Si or GSR. IMO, if you go with a GReddy kit and you want to modifiy it beyond what's provided in the kit, get it tuned. HTH.

save your money... you will only spend more rebuilding that engine when you blow it, your going to make about as much peak hp as an si with a jsrc kit. with the bolt on greddy turbo w/o the intercooler...
you will need plenty of bullshit to get your car running right too, fpr, vtec controller, turbo timer, misc gauges. more frequent oil changes, new spark plugs and ignition box...
not worth the money or the heartache for a daily driver to make it turbo for the sake of making it turbo.

Dood, you seem a bit to preoccupied with timeslips.. Learn about boost and all motor applications before you start wasting your money and end up with a focked up car.. Patience, my brother.. Read and learn..
