There are many different ZC's...
JDM SOHC 88-91 ZC = Equivalent of OBD0 D16A6 from Civic/CRX Si with more aggressive cam
JDM DOHC 88-91 ZC = Equivalent of OBD0 D16A1 from 86-89 Integra
JDM SOHC 92-95 ZC = Equivalent of OBD1 D16Z6 from Civic EX/Si
They are all 1.6L and accept d-series trannies.
I'd get the LS motor personally.
