no its not bad at all. it took me 16 hours the very first time i did it. although it was my first time working on a FWD/Honda car.
so far i've done 10 swaps for me and my friends.
and of course this is just me a 6ft3 160lbs guy. doing it himself with no help at all and going over the radiator support not under lol.
so if i went under it would prolly take me maybe 8-9 hrs in total.

uhhmm...this thread is about 6 yrs old. I'm sure the OP has already gotten rid of this car by now.
Anyways.....all my swaps are from above. That method is easier for me.

is there a good spot to pick the car up in the front with a cherry picker? i left my strut bar mounts in place, not sure if those are strong enough.
where have you guys done it?
im talking about picking the car up in the front with a cherry picker, not a floor jack and jack stands...
seems much easier.

I drop mine out of the bottom. Pull the axles drain the fluid and shift linkages. Leave the wireing harness on the motor and unhook all grounds and hoses. 2 hours later motor and trans is on the ground. I still use a cherry picker to drop motor down and pull it up to the mounts. I allow the engine and trans to lay on a old creeper and just roll it out from under the car.
