put in new turbo, now I'm ready for more time shaving.
hey, about 2 months back I put up this post about shaving time off my 1/4 mile time. I have did the following to drop my 1/4 mile time.(THE CAR IS A 1995 2DR. SI)
took out all seats except drivers
took out spare tire
ran open intake
open header
turbo at max (4.5 psi)
ran w/o bumpers and hood
used drag slicks
fuel pressure all the way up
92 octane fuel
the dyno resulted 234.7HP 193TQ
my time was 12.8@106MPH
when I put every thing back to normal, it did a lowsy 14.2@98.5
now, I have done it, finnally, I upgraded my turbo, it now can run up to a max of
8.5 psi, I have a new intercooler, new lightwieght axles, stageIII clutch, and
all that new crap resulted in 278HP 198tq (not a big torque difference.)
I did all the same things and everything at max and I pulled off a perfect 12.29@116MPH.
now, I need help, this thing was maxed out at everything, I want to try and put this thing into the 11's. maybe an 11.8 or something, I would need the next thing to a small 50-shot of nitro to get that, do any of you have anymore timeshaving tips that I clould use?
thans in advance!
