put in new thermostat now.......little help

Default put in new thermostat now.......little help

put a new thermostat on the LS civic now i am having a little problem the car is reving by itself goes from 1.5 to 2 and i didnt take the distributor of or anything so i couldnt have messed with timing any help would be great....thanks

Did you bleed the coolant? Could be an air pocket in the system....

i did bleed the coolant but how long do i do that for?..... until it comes out the overflow valve? sorry sorta of a newb to this stuff

It should come out in a steady stream of coolent while you leave your cap off keep filling it up entill it is a steady stream . Then replace rad. cap BAM!
