if the thermostat is stuck closed, then you'll start overheating. but some of those are symptoms of a bad thermostat though. replace it with a beck failsafe thermostat.

a stuck thermostat would
1. Cold Lower Radiator hose
2. Blow out cold air when it should be hot

ya, that would suck, but if you have basic tools, and a torque wrench its not hard at all to do
