PROJECT: EK ferio
The Story
well im starting a project ek ferio rebuild. heres the story. i began to start buying a white 96' civic 4 door from a dealership. fixed the little nic nacs thta were wrong with it. got it painted etc. then i decide i wanted a payed off car so.me a this guy made a deal he would take my car minus some of the parts that were on it and i would get his 94 civic hatch(paid off) and he would remain paying on the 4 door. just caus ethe fact that it was newer and cleaner. and we would exchange title when he paid it off. well he ended up wrecking the car and got it inpounded so i was reasponsible for getting it out. at this time and i had already began fixing the hatch up. i installed a jdm b20 motor,tein susp,lca's,etc. anyways i wasnt able to get the car out for a few days cause i was busy. so his mom think im trying to screw him over some how. so she reports the 94' civic stolen! so here i am driving a stolen car and he want the 4 door out of the impound. so i strip the car down of everything i put in it and return it to stock. im already fed up and say just give me the car back. well it turn out its a pile of crap now and has to be redone!! so now he starts the project rebuild! i will get aftermath pics up asap! redoing everything from motor to suspension to exhaust. stay tuned

Looks like a nice project. I'm not trying in any way to be a dick but that sounds like the worst deal you could have ever made. No matter how good you know the person/trust them what ever the case may be, when it comes down to your credit, your image, and your troubles, keep it simple. Not having the titles transferred puts you at BIIIG risk, I mean good luck with everything but be careful.

oh yeah, i know what you mean i got shafted. i know i did.and i regret ever trying to make that deal. but what can i do but rebuild it and be smarter next time. keep this project going
