Problems ofter clutch replacement
I pulled the motor and replaced the clutch over the weekend. New clutch is good, the Exedy stage one racing clutch has a much crisper feel that the stock clutch, i also stiffened up the motor mounts and converted to a manual steering rack.
PROBLEMS!!! before the car ran great... now the CEL light is on, the engine makes a loud valve train ticking noise, i checked oil like 30 times its all good, the engine has never ticked like this before i cant figure it out. the car will NOT go VTEC somtimes after it is warm, nothing happens at 5500 rpm and it feels very sluggish at lower rpms, and it is totally dead in terms of power output after like 6000rpm. idle is very high, about 3500rpm. the car is also getting horrible fuel economy and is louder than normal. I have checked the wiring harness several times and i cant see anything that is mis-wired. car runs like **** and its pissing me off!
CEL codes are:
P1505 (idle air control)
P0505 (idle control system)
P0325 (knock sensor)
someone please help!! thanks!
