hello ht. sorry for noob question.

i just pickd up an auto 98 civic ex. heres the prob: the button on the shifter to put into reverse or drive etc. is really hard to press in.. any ideas? maybe if i can change out for another one or is this a common problem..

Yeah you could do that or you could remove the 2 screws on the side of the shifter had and spay some wd-40 in there and check to see if that spring in there isnt screwed up either!
