Default Problem with Vtec

Okay here is the deal.Hooked up a VAFC to my car and decided to unhook it until I got it tuned but left the VTEC wires hooked to the VAFC and started it and it throw a check engine light. So i unhooked the VTEC wires and rewired them to the ecu and now I have no VTEC checked wires so I dont know what happened but need some help.
