Problem with GSR cluster in my EG
I just installed my GSR cluster in my civic. When i installed it my Fuel lever was pretty high almost full. when i put the GSR cluster in it was still almost full. I was driving the car the needle went to half tank and started dying. i didnt think it was out of gas but it was. when i put gas in it was find. is there a differents in the sender?

possibly a bad gauge, I have a GSR cluster in my '92 and it works fine.
heck you're in chicago if you want to try another gauge let me know. I have a teg cluster sitting here for parts.

Re: (ME SO FST)
ive installed a couple of the clusters in civics and what i found was that it takes a little while to go from full to 1/2 tank and then after 1/2 tank it drops within the next 70 miles. i havent figured out if the sending unit is defferent but as long as it tells me empty when there is no gas i have no complaints.
