I am trying to put seats from a 91ish prelude in my 95 civic coupe. But i ran into a problem. The track on the prelude seat doesn't line up. And the track on the civic seat won't work on the prelude seat. N E one got any experience with this? N E help would be appreciated.

Hey man, if they were a 4th gen. prelude (92-96), then i can help. I just put them into my 97 coupe, and it wasnt bad, but there is fabrication/welding involved. Atleast it was for me. Seemed like the easiest way. I'll try and get pics of it tonight if i can (may be dark when i get home, but i'll have it soon). Basically i just cut some pieces of steel flatbar, and welded them to the prelude sliders/brackets.... one had to be bent, one was just needed as an extension.

Or you can just drill new holes like I did and they're perfect.

well in my car one of the rear brackets was not even covering the whole so this would not have worked..... i just pulled and shoved to get the front 2 bolts in...then on the console sides of the seats, i extended the bracket with metal welded on, and on the door side, i made a little angle bracket and welded it on...

ooh, and in no way was i going to drill a hole in my floor...NOPE!
