Default Powerslot rotors up front and blanks in the back??? ok????

Just bought the rear brake setup from a 96 Integra to swap the drums on my civic.

Also going to be buying new rotors and pads all the way around.

I wanted to swap the front to Integra brakes also, but for $$$ reasons, am going to hold off for now.

So Integra brakes in the rear and stock civic rotors up front..

my question is does it make sense to put upgraded nice slotted Powerslot rotors up front and keep the rear to just a standard blank rotor, whether its made by Brembo or whatever.

Or should the rotors stay the same all the way around??

I imagine people do this when they still have stock drums in the back, and it probably wouldnt matter if I mixed and matched, but was just curious.

Thanks.

Ok. So.....hmmmm....

well to put it in another perspective, what about putting the more expensive Brembo blanks up front and something cheaper in the rear, like Winhere or Mountain rotors that are about $25 cheaper.

My point really is it ok to mix and match? As long as it isn't 4 different rotors on every corner.

And thanks for the input, although right now I am not racing it.

brembo blanks are pretty cheap. and can be resurfaced 3x. when autozones are good for 1 resurface if that.

it really won't matter if your front and rear rotor's dont match.

i had powerslots on my old accord and they warped after 8kmi. also, most shops won't resurface them b/c it make their lathe skip.

i didn't notice any improvement with the powerslots.
