I have a 1995 civic LX, the rear drivers window will not go down. I pulled apart the door panel and it looks like the cable (i have never seen a power window set up with cables like this) that pulls the window down has popped out of the bracket it hooks to. only problem is that my Haynes manual doesnt show where to reattach it and the cable when fully pulled out (window all the way up) is about 2 inches short of the bracket so i am not sure how i would reattach it if i knew where to hook it. any help would be great!!!!! i cant stand stuff that doesnt work on my cars.

sorry to say but yo uneed to replace the regulator...there is a roller sorta like that broke off and if that break or crack or even if the cavble is snap off then you can't really fix it..jsut replace the regulator only..the motor should still be good.

this problem has happened to my integra... it is $744 for the regulator, and $200 for them to install it. Can't say i like the window rolling down so much that i'll spend $1000 on it. ui have ac to keep the car cold in the summer.
