My boy has a 92 EG hatch. He wants power window. Do you guys know which power window kit from which civics or integras will fit his car perfectly (bolt on)? Anyone add power window into non power window? Please let me know how its done...thanks for your reply...

I'm going to install my power window kit this week-end, i'll take some pics and maybe do a write-up. Its the SPAL universal kit off ebay(110 shipped isn't bad at all!)

if you get the power window kit, then your gonna end up getting the panels, you wouldnt want the holes in or the roller still there right.

i heard if you try to do it with using stock honda motors and wiring and everything that it is a bitch to get the wiring done. you have a wire harness you have to do in the door, and one you have to run under the carpet. i read this in a similar post about a month ago. just save the money and time, buy the spal kit off of ebay for like $80 buy it now + shipping. then buy some switches. i think it even comes with plastic circle covers to block off the hole from the stock windor roller.

i am just going to have that that hole carpet area on the door panel re-done, and not cut out the hole for the windor roller.... easy to do. just thought i would let you know that it is a lot hard, and probably more expensive to do the stock honda motors..

Yes sir. I had aftermarket door locks for my alarm, but when I got the new door panels, switched over to the factory ones, they're so much smoother and quieter. Also had the power windows installed. My friend at the time did the wire up, he's pretty good with alarms and stereos, said it wasn't that hard, just time consuming, cause he was really picky about how the wiring went through the door, wanted it just like stock. He did the conversion for a few of us. Took about 2 hours per door, but again, he was extremely picky.
