power folding mirror help
anyone know if you can swap everything from a power folding mirror into a usdm mirror
and anyone have a diy for installing these, on a 1993 civic,
i have the mirrors switch and relay
any help is appreciated thanks

the car origionally has power mirrors but i need to add the power folding wires
i think its just 2 wires but i cant find anything for installing them

its not as easy as just tapping in the 2 wires for the folding option. you need to have the 95U i believe is what its called relay which allows the mirrors to fold with the switch when the button is pressed.

you wont be able to swap parts from mirror to mirror.. i tried... its not easy to install them, but its not terribly(sp?) hard with a little patience. to do a clean *** job, you'd have to run the wires through the existing door harness, meaning pinning the harness which can be a bee-itch! here is a diagram for an ek install, but the wiring is pretty much the same..... https://honda-tech.com/forums/audio-security-video-27/d-relays-try-wire-up-these-mirrirs-all-wiring-diagramswiring-up-ctr-mirrors-1847948/ i hope this helps you out...
