Post your annoying hatch noises and how you fixed them.
Just to clear things up:
I know i can turn up my system, but thats not a permanent fix to the noises.
I know its a 10 year old car, but i have been in a few other 10 year old hatchs that sound like they just drove out of the dealership.
ok, now on to my question. Is it worth it to take my car to Honda to schedule a road test for $75.00?
I had mr interior stripped before and i still had crazy noises whel driving on an imperfect road. I hear all sorts of rattling, kind of like my car is going to fall apart. Now when i put my interior back on, i have squeaking of the panels that i cant get rid of.
Anyone know how to gett rid of the panels squeaking? also, i have a loud rattling noise that is comming from the rear, is it likely to be my trunk or taillights?
i know it cant be my duckbill or hatch glass.
thanks

Foam between the plasticpaneling and the metal frame (works WONDERS).
I've got my car fully Dynamatted, and all the plastic paneling will be backed by 1" thick foam.
Nice and comfy inside now
As far as actual squeaks...get a set of strut braces..they'll help stiffen the car up.

I replaced those black, round, rubber stopper things under my hatch and it stopped squeaking. The old ones wore down. Hope that helps some. Good Luck
