Possible Tranny Fluid Leak???
So just swapped out my lx transmission on my 93 civic for an ex tranny 2 weeks ago. I noticed last week that something was leaking from below my car. At first inspection I suspected oil leak from rear main seal as it seems to be coming from between block and tranny. Oil level doesnt seem to be going down much though so I thought maybe tranny fluid. Checked the level and it took about a quart even though I just filled it 2 weeks ago. Doesnt appear to be coming from axles, so i dont think its the axle seals. What could be leaking tranny fluid from between the tranny and block? Thanks all!

Re: Possible Tranny Fluid Leak???
Yea, I have been reading up and it sounds like it might be that seal. Does the input shaft bearing go by any other name? And does anyone know of a write-up I can follow? Thanks.

It's not an identical set up, but the job for your car would be very similar:
