possible suspension problem?? eg dx coupe
well about a week ago i started getting a creeking sound whenever i moved the steering wheel to the left, the sound was/is similar to an old door opening. well i went and spoke with some techs at a local shop and i was told to check my LBJ, tie rods, and bushings, but when i did this last night and the bushings looked solid and the boot around the LBJ and tie rods were in tact. while i was underneath the car i check my steering rack and boots and they were also in tact. the only thing i found was a wet spot that looked like oil in the center of my steering rack. the noise isnt limited to turning left, but also over bumps and dips in the road, so i thought it was my factory suspension with ~180k going bad. the noise doesnt happen everytime i get in the car, its pretty hit or miss, and doesnt happen at all when making right turns.
im stumped on what my problem is and need to fix it before i upgrade my suspension later this month.
i know i kinda rambled with my explanation, but im lost and really need help.

Just get under there and try to replicate it is all I can say. I had some squeaking in my front end, it was the bushings on the UCA. But like I said, alot of things it could be.

i tried with no luck. when the front end was off the ground it made no noises at all, and after driving for about an hour this morning, i havent heard the sound again. im thinking suspension is going bad because i barely have a 2 finger gap in the front with stock suspension

Silly question but did you do the hammer/kick test?
Kick your tires or smack the tires with a mallet to see if it's any of your suspension pieces?
Just slightly kick it with your left foot and then you right foot on either side of the tire to see if you can feel or hear anything.
Also sometimes it's hard to tell is your UBJ, with the car jacked up you need to pull and push your tire from the top of your tire to see if the UBJ is good or not.
I had a crackle noise in my car before and it turned out to be the UBJ in the camber kit.
