Default Possible battery drain issues after clutch switch bypass

Anyone had any battery draining issues after bypassing their clutch safety switch? I did not elect to do it the little rubber piece that pushes the switch broke so I cut the wires and spliced them together. Every since then my car has been had to start and sometimes will turn over a couple times then just click. Battery iteself is good getting good charge from alternator. It actually started this morning which I found weird since it didnt after sitting for 50 mins on friday and several hours at work friday night. I did replace the starter as well this last week.

All the wires from the battery to starter are in good shape, perhaps grounded wire somewhere but I no idea where to check at this point.
