Default Is a polished bar better than painted?

I have some problems with my frame being too soft apperantly in the front suspension... so I am gonna get a neuspeed tie bar.... My question is...

Is getting a polished bar better than a painted one? As in, is it more durable/rust preventative or something like that? Or is it just a bling factor? (money is an issue for me, but I am serious for the long run...)

I am looking at the
PN :. 35.20.72P http://www.neuspeed.com/produc...d=824

Or the
PN :. 35.20.72
http://www.neuspeed.com/produc...d=823

This will go on my 2000 Civic EX coupe Auto. I am almost sure it is the right bar, but also can someone confirm that for me? Any other cheap or reliable places besides neuspeed themselves to buy from would be appreciated as well.

I've got the second (the black one) and have had it for close to 3 years. No problems and no rust whatsoever.

Just remember that polished is going to show dirt very quickly.

Go with the painted version.
I would guess the painted would last longer b/c its coated.... But the polished probably has a clear-coat on it. So I doubt it'll make a difference either-way (regarding rust).
Personally I feel that bling is overrated.

Painted

The "polished" bar isn't really polished. It's steel, not aluminum. I've never paid much attention to them, but they're probably chromed.

I'd go with whatever was cheaper.
