just put b18 into my 92 civic hatch had to use gsr harness. ran good for like 2 days but not it runs like crap when it is hot and under 4000 rpm but runs great over 4ooo rpm its like skipping and seems like the plugs are fouled but new plugs any idea

Did you check your fuel pump, make sure its turning on.. also check your Distributor/connections... actually you could even take it apart and look for burn marks, sounds like a bad coil.. It could be a number of things...

fuel pump goes on doesn't seem to turn off also it runs very well over 4000 rpm. i was told that if the coil was bad it would get worse as the r's go up

bump... i think i may have the same problem. ive got a b16a2. cap and rotor looked fine. i changed the fuel filter, and used some bg 44k fuel injector cleaner. brand new ngk v-power plugs. i use 93 octane. still kinda bogs at low rpm's.

timing is perfect but it has symptoms like it is out of time

how do you know timing its perfect .. ?

just put new timing belt on and the distributor is good

only allowed 5 post a day so i have to edit this yes all marks lined up and no did not use timing light but adjusted the distributor like 8 times in 8 different progressive positions then readjusted to the position that it ran the best and also it rund good when it is cold would timing have anything to do with that

everything lined up when you installed the timing belt? did you use a timing gun while adjusting the timing?

you should buy a helms.. or do a search on how to properly adjust the timing..

if honda adjusted the timing like you did all their cars would be running like yours

its hard to help people when they ask for advice because they dont know whats going on.. then we reply and they say thats not the problem.. so do yourself a favor a search.. im not been a dick im just been honest and straight up

also changed 02 sensor didn't seem to help have no idea maybe it is the gsr harness not sure could some one tell me the right harness to use
