Please help, please help diagnose lights
Hey,
I just swapped a b16a2 like awhile ago, and i actually just cleaned my engine bay with "black magic(works really good btw pics soon)" i covered my fuse box and intake and alarm, and distributer.... anyways now im getting a battery light on my car.
During the day the battery light is on when i gas it and when in neutral it turns off.
my bro says its just some water on the alternator or something.
Well tonight i was driving my gf home and it was hella cold so I turned on the heat and blasted it and went off. when i gas it the lights(headlights and interoir lights) and the heat were brighter and blew harder, when i was not gassing it or in nutraul they kinda dimed and went lower....i noticed a nice gain in performace to(or exleast i thought so)
now im thinking it could be a belt or something? like the alternator belt?
what do you think?
It drives fine now, just curious
mabie my batteries going out...its been through a lot

battery or alternator, one of the two. if you change your battery, odds are it will fix the problem, but if its your alternator,it will show signs sooner than later.

sounds like your alt. is just charging the enough. Take it to Auto part store and test your alt/battery (on car).
