PLEASE HELP!!! EG6 CX/Si wiring harness problem. Wires don't match!?
Ok, here's the deal...I bought a '92 CX shell that had all the engine bay wiring cut near the firewall. I also bought a '93 Si as a parts car/engine donor. The Si has its main ECU harness cut off at the ECU, so I need to splice all the engine bay wiring onto the existing harness.
Now, the main harness that comes out of the firewall near the battery all spliced in fine w/ the Si donor harness. HOWEVER, there are 2 wires from the CX's existing harness that don't match the part I cut off the Si and am splicing onto the CX's. Here's a pic:
So, WHAT I NEED TO KNOW is this: Which wires do I connect to which wires? Do I do TEAL-to-PINK w/ WHITE, or TEAL-to-PINK w/ BLACK??? I assume these wires go together, I just don't know which to which Does anyone know what these wires are? Possibly the 2 pink wires from the d16z6 are its VTEC wires? Possibly the teal/white wires from the CX's harness are VTEC wires b/c I thought '92 CX's came wired for VTEC? PLEASE HELP! DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW I CONNECT THESE!? Thanks

IMHO i would just get one whole harness that isnt cut. will save u alot of headaches. if you are good at wiring then go to your local parts store or library and get a haynes manual they have nice wiring diagrams inside

Re: (JDMlifestyle)
I don't have the entire SI harness, nor do I have the entire CX harness. I am almost certain these are the VTEC wires, just for some reason Honda changed the color of them between the '92 CX (supposedly wired for VTEC) and '93 Si. So does anyone know which wire goes to which wire? I'd rather save a good deal of $$ and splice the harnesses
