Piston Ring Gap on D16Z6
I'm rebuilding my JDM ZC VTEC motor (same as a USDM D16Z6) and the machine shop has done most of the work, except re-assemble the motor. My freind is a mechanic with experience on imports, but the machine shop made sure to check to verify the piston ring gap when installing. Does anyone know exactly what that should be set at? I'm running Eagle H-beams with .50mm oversize Arias 9.0:1 comp pistons on them. The crank is balanced and polished and I have new bearings for everything. I searched for this but it didn't come up with any results I needed. Thanks for any help available.

Assuming your using stock replacement rings:
mm (in)

Re: Piston Ring Gap on D16Z6 (civicminded92)
Hmm, that's a good question. The rings came with the Arias pistons, so I'm guessing they're not stock then?
