Pieces required to pass CA smog? 1997 JDM B18C in 1993 Civic
Alright, its time for DMV renewal and they slapped me with a Smog Check at a Test Only. I got a JDM B18C from a 1997. Its OBD2. Currently its in a 1993 Honda Civic DX Hatch (OBD0/OBD1). Right now I'm running it in an OBD1 configuration.
I called the Test Only and they said I need to go to the Smog Ref first. So, I want to make sure I got everything straight before I go. So can someone tell me what I'd need to pass both Visual and the sniffer?
I already have:
AEM CAI with CARB Sticker
USDM OBD1 ECU from 1994 GSR
Stock USDM DX Cat (yes, its small)
Stock JDM header (think its 4-2-1)
RS*R ExMag exhaust
Do I need any particular sensors? I plan to change spark plugs, cap, rotor, etc. Run some Fuel Injector cleaner and what not, but is there anything else I should consider? Thanks for any help.

whatever motor the car came out of has to match all the vacuum hoses as that model and year. meaning all smog equipment, etc

to make it easier, don't tell them its a obd2 motor. tell them you purchased it as a 94-95 Acura Integra GS-R motor. Tell them it is all obd1. post a pic of your intake manifold.

its best if you go there with all stock components, like replacing the aem cai for a stock airbox, and stock exhaust

yea i've heard of people doing this and it works. i had a sir-1 and i just told the ref it was a 94 (i had a usdm p30 manifold on it tho). the AEM MUST be for an integra GSR as the CARB#'s vary from car to car.

shouldnt really matter. if you have an AEM, they'll even put it on your car sticker saying your intake is legal

Re: Pieces required to pass CA smog? 1997 JDM B18C in 1993 Civic (dantastic)
Hope the REF doesnt check the Casting marks on the head if he does and see's its a OBD-II year then your screwed. It will be a pain to get everything to OBD-II compliance
