Your upper grille is missing the inner piece (or it's cut out). You might want to later replace it with another '96-'98 grille. The coupe and hatch ones will look like yours, but Milano Red is only a coupe color and Roma Red is only a hatch color (can't see what your car is from here).
Oh, and this might help with fuses. Print yours out from it.

PM'ed.
After you showed me that picture of the ECU harness, that's 100% definitely the problem, it's shorting out or not connecting someplace.
Solid CEL = No response from ECU, which means it's either dead or the wiring is fucked. That wiring is OWNED 6 ways from Sunday. I'd chop it off higher up (maybe by the glove box) and wire in new plug ends from a junkyard harness.

Alot. It's very time consuming and time = $$$$ when talking labor charges. Try to do as much of it yourself as possible.

Yeah, but at the point he's at, he might be better off getting a quote from an automotive electrical shop.
It's a mess, somebody went to work on it and messed it up. Get a quote from an auto electrical shop.

was this free or did you trade for it?

i'm guessing with the questions you're asking you have no idea how to fix this thing, taking the si to a shop to be fixed will most likely end up having been cheaper then the mess you're about to jump into.

Re: (k powered ej1)
i was fing with various ecus none of them prime well accually syn im gonna take a better pic of the harness bc its not that bad
the wire i was refering to was that ornage one which is cut *idk the guy working on it did some 3>2 wire iacv? or something* i thought if my main relay went out my car wouldnt prime? but hes right about the solid cell ****
somehow my ecu isnt sending/receiving **** so i need to fix it
see after i caught them in the act of riping my engine out the cop told them to pit every thing back or get sued and i had to leave when they were *putting my car back together* so they stole my p28 abd god knows what they did to my car what i might do is drop the engine and buy a mint white ek shell would that work?

Where at in texas do you live, I wire up swaps all the time. it can be very time consuming depending on what motor you get. the b-series are easy and only take about a hour if that. but if you live close I could help you out for alot cheaper than a shop will. most shops are at least 80 bucks a hour and that is cheap and go up to 110-120 and hour
