i have a obd1 d16a sohc vtec motor in my 96 ex, running obd2a.

i heard situation about the obd2 distrubitor on obd1 motor fitment thing and are there pics out there where its modified to fit perfectly? i know i seen a thread on this somewhere.

i have only 1 bolt holding the distributor and 1 other bolt holding it also but not in the screw hole, i just want another way to mount the distributor with THE RIGHT TIMING/ spark pattern.

any help?

Re use the OBD1 distributor body and put your OBD2 internals into it. Perfect fit.

if you saw a picture, would you REALLY know the difference? Lay the two distributors out in a clean area, pay attention to what you are doing and swap the guts. And be careful with the phillips screws, they LOVE to strip.
