with an ex engine u will want to spend ur money elsewhere to get horsepower. instead of buying an aftermarket intake manifold and maybe a throttle body in there put it towards a Jackson racing supercharger. they are decently priced and will give alot better output. i would go with a 4-2-1 one piece dc sports header for low end on that engine. as far as exhaust systems an apexi world sport is good but really quiet if u dont have vtec. who knows? if u have a test pipe it may give a little rumble to the exhuast

The Jackson Racing SC will give you so much more bang for your buck, hands down. But adding a component like that would require proper tuning, so don't forget about the $ you'll have to spend on that..

97ex ummm try some quick math.
300 - skunk IM
150 - intake and filter
300 - header
100 - cat
550 - exhaust
thats $1400, you might want to look into getting a swap man, for that much money you could have a B16A, with 160hp, more than your 127HP d-series is ever going to make with boltons, and your car is already wired for vtec!
