Low end Power? what will help me
since i added a Cold air intake to my car, ive lost a slight amount of low end power under about 3-4k RPM, i was wondering what would help me get some more Low end torque out of my D16Y8? i will be getting a megan racing cat back in a few weeks, but i dont think that will help at all, i was thinking about a skunk2 Throttle body and Intake Manifold? what do you guys think? ill be going to turbo in about 2-3 months so i dont want to spend money on stuff ill be having to sell again when i get my turbo kit.
thanks in advance

a short ram intake and a 4-2-1 header (though the difference will be minimal).
save your money until you turbo it though.

i dont want to get a new intake, and i dont want to get headers because ill just end up having to get rid of them in the end,

Bigger throttle body will give you a better response. Might make you feel as tho you gained your low end back. Skunk2 intake manifold might even drop your low end from what i've herd.
Headers will give you some low end, but if you don't want to do that then... i'm afraid there's not too much else you can do short of turbo.

which is why i told you to save your money.
jesus christ youre an idiot, dont ask for advice on getting more bottom end when you dont want to spend more money on stuff that will help you. and FYI, theres pretty much no bottom end on 4 cylinders without a turbo kit or without building a stroker.

Easy homie. You can show a horse to water...
to OP, knockout is right. on top of that it's honda. Leave it to them to squeeze 240horses out of a 2.0, yet leave it with only 140tq.

Wasn't there a discussion about this a week or 2 ago in which the OP was flamed to hell for being a need for speed moron? Anyways, the point of that topic ended up being: mods make mid - high end power, stock = best low end torque. Something like that.

In response to Knockout;
lol, well if you read my post i clearly stated i was going to be getting a turbo kit in the near future, and that i dont want to buy stuff ill have to get rid of again when the turbo gets put in, theres no need to be an *** pirate about it man. next time take it a little bit easier.
thank you everyone else, i think ill just save my money and get a B18 TB once i get my turbo kit, and leave my motor as it is until the boost comes.

man...only all-motor mods will help in your situation, thats what you dont understand. so buy parts and then re-sell them or deal with it.
