pcv/breather box... can i remove it?

Default pcv/breather box... can i remove it?

is there a way to remove my breather chamber (part 1 on the diagram)
i have heard some controversy about it, and would like a straight answer, i starterd to read about it on here, but im running out now to drop something off, and would like to have the answer when i get back

you can remove it but why would you want to unless you were gonna put in a CAI or SRI

NO! Do not remove it..it is there for a reason and that is to vent blow by gasses from the block. Besides if you do there will be a big gaping hole in the back of your motor. Even if you plug it up you will start leaking oil from every seal since you will have no way to vent the pressure from the pistons comming down the cylinder.
