PB&J MADE MY CAR NOT START. HELP ASAP
I made a pb&j sammich instead of ham and turkey today. Got into my car, tried to start it. AND NOTHING. I need help.
It's not the battery. I turn the key, hear the injectors and nothing else. Power isn't getting to the engine. The injectors coming on is literally the only thing that happens when I try to start it. HELP PLEASE. I need this fixed as soon and humanly possible. Trading my car soon and need the problem fixed.
Thanks.

Check the battery connections where the cables/terminals are - do either of the wires have any wiggle/movement? If so tighten them.
Check the starter power wire at the starter itself - is it tight? Also check the spade connector at the starter - is it secure?
If you are CERTAIN the battery is not low then try having someone turn and hold the ignition switch into the crank position while you smack the starter with the handle of a hammer or large prybar to see if the starter is locked up. If the brushes are locked up a nice bump can free it up, but you'll need a starter.
Have you tried jumper cables?

I tried jumper cables, nothing at all. Great tips. I'm gonna give it a shot. But also. Could it be a fuse or anything of the sort? Thanks also.

check a fuse diagram for the starter fuse to see if its blown. on my 98 it was underneath the dash. if its good take a voltometer and check the ignition wire running to the starter. Turn the key to the on position and touch the ends to the wire. It should read i believe 9 or 12 volts. If thats getting power its more than likely your starter! there are 2 bolts holding your starter in place on top of the tranny. Undo the bolts and the 2 wires that are plugged in and it should slide right out. pretty simple change!
