Passenger door dent...help
Hey, my 95 EJ has a nice dent from someone who devised a nice hit and run and I would appriceate some suggestions. My coupe is Red and has some fade to it, you know, it's lost it's deep color. So, I don't want a new paint job and I know that body shops won't touch the red paint, so, should I go with buying a new skin and just mixing different red colors to get the faded red that I have? Should I just get a door off of another car? Or is it worth taking into the shop? It would be helpful if any of you guys have had this problem. I appriceate any and all feedback! I'll get a pic up as soon as I can

how much are u willing to spend.....
Rock the dent till u get enough money to give the car a propper strip-n-repaint at a good body/paint shop...
if its in ur door.. u could try and pop it out again...... it won't be pretty but.. the dent is out...

you're not going to able to match new red paint w/ your old paint. most people have a good enough color eye to tell new from old paint. a bodyshop can do it w/ blending, but if your car is "milano pink" why not shell out the extra $ for a full paintjob?

Re: Passenger door dent...help (shutupnskate)
Well I would dude, but I don't exactly enjoy pouring all my money into my car, well, to a point. If it would cost me like $900 for a really nice job, no prob, but most the places I've been quoted for are asking well over $2000. I don't know, and I just noticed that my right engine mount bolt is sticking 1 1/4" out of the hole and the mount is just resting on the other half of the bolt! I don't even have a jack here right now. Kinda sucks...haha
