do you want the engine bay and door jams painted as well? without door jams i hva e aguy that just did my girls car for 1200 including taking out like 6-8 dents and fixing her spoiler. but i have gotten to know him pretty well. but i would say $2500-3000 will get a really nice paint job

Well, how long do you plan on having your car? If you are saying 2-3 years, take it to Maaco get the package where they will warranty for 2-3 years and get an extra clear coat on it. Then when they finish painting it bring it home and wait 1 month and buff it out... you'll be impress and SO much cheaper than 2-3g. Also if its already Milano Red... there is no point in paint the door jams? How many people are going to tell you your door jams are 2 shades from Milano Red? They aren't the best place to do it, but they get the job done.

just my 2 cents

A buddy and I did my del sol for about $700. Mine is pearl white tho. your paint might be cheeper. If your not doing it your self...like DroppedGSR said 2500 - 3000 or more. But if you do it your self make sure you or the guys painting your car have done it before and know what the hell their doing. If not, your better off paying $3000.

If you really serious about spending 3g on a paint job get a better cooler, and have whoever is paint for you work for the money, i.e. Pearl White, Midnight Purple, etc...

Whatever floats your boat dude...

imo getting a GOOD QUALITY job done RIGHT,
is FAR FAR FAR FAR FAAAAAARRRR more important than having some spiffy wondercolor , pearl this, flake that,

I have seen the most dropdead gorgeous hatches, with OEM paint colors, but the look so good because the quality of the paint itself is just topnotch.

and i have seen too many to count cars with crazy colors with wierd depth, chameleon color changing, nice metalic flakes in em and everything,

but it just doesnt look that great,
for one the quality of the finish isnt all that hot,
and two the insane color really doesnt fit well on such a simple car like a civic.

oem colors done well look best imo.
not saying go with whatever came on hatches,
but any oem color works good.

my fav is probly imo orange off of jdm s2k's/NSX
