I have a 97 Civic Coupe. Electric windows. The Passanger window was off track on top where the seal is on the outside. Just the corner was like sticking out of the track. I removed the door panel and rolled the window down and pushed the window back into the track. The window channel was still in place no issue. I rolled the window up halfway and i can move the entire window left and right in the track. I seen the 2 bolts on the bottom and got the window into position and they were loose so i tightened them up but the window still moves left and right. I was looking around why its still doing this but it appears the bar infront of the window i assume for the regulator is moving also with the window. Does this mean i need to get a new regulator or is there other bolts in there i can tighten to keep the window from moving back and forth so it will stay in the track? Thanks

The glass shouldn't move left or right. Check the guides to see if it's bent.

Common EK issue. Many times the regulator develops too much play allowing the window to shift like that.
