Default Parts for upgrading to 4 wheel disc on hatch.

What's the best car to get the swap from so it's as inexpensive as possible.

I have a 93 DX hatch with rear drums and want to upgrade to SiR or Integra 4 wheel disc. I know I will need the following:

Rear LCAs
front and rear rotor, caliper
hand brake cable

Also I know I should upgrade:

Brake booster
Proportioning valve
Master cylinder.

SO what car is the best to pull these parts from to make the swap as easy as possible ? Civic SiR, teg ?

Wrong, you dont need rear lcas.
Just the trailing arm and rear hub assembly (rotor, caliper), hoses, and parking cables.

All rear disc setups ARE THE SAME. I know Ive said this at least 50 times before. 91-01 integra, 92-00 civic, 93-97 del sol....all the same parts back there. (ok, not the cables).

Please, youve been here a long time, search and you will find what youre looking for.

he said it. please seardh, pdiggity HAS said this over 50 times, so ill say it this time.

the prop. valve should be from a 92-95 civic with rear discs, look at a Integra RS 94-01 because it does not have ABS and will bolt on perfectly. Remember that cables from a 94-95 civic with rear discs will bolt right on, and integra lines are a tad longer but can work.
For better braking power, most people look into bigger front brakes first, as if you swap, your car will have about the same size discs in the back as in the front.

Trust me when i say, do more homework. It pays off, literally.

I'm doing homework now...

Well thanks for the search suggestion... it's the first thing I did, but my wording must be off... or I forgot to search archives.

But I did get some of the info I'm lookin for... the 94-95 civics parts fit better. I also forgot to add... I'm getting parts from RHD cars, so will I need to source a LHD master cylinder and proportioning valve too ? (it looks like I will)

since you are not altering your brake lines (your only doing rear disc brakes) then you will not need a RHD master cylinder. Your brake pedal isnt moving, is it? I dont know the brake line plumbing of a RHD civic, but your brake lines going TO your master cylinder will not change, therefore for a MC/BB, get one from a LHD car like yours.
